2020 Area Assessments of Industrial
Land in the Territory

Since 2000, the Department has been
undertaking area assessments of industrial
land in the territory in every four to five years.
In September 2019, the Department started
a new round of study to obtain an overview
on the latest utilisation of private industrial
buildings and consider planning of industrial
land to meet the changing needs of economic
land uses and optimise the utilisation of
land resources. The Study comprises on-site
questionnaire surveys and in-house planning
assessments. The on-site questionnaire surveys
were largely completed in December 2020.
The study is scheduled for completion in 2021.
