SEPTEMBER UDS for Town Plazas in Kwu Tung North and Fanling
2020 North New Development Areas
A town plaza of about 14 ha integrating with the proposed
rail station, shopping street, adjacent residential/commercial
developments and a Public Transport Interchange (PTI) is
proposed at the centre of the Kwu Tung North (KTN) New
Development Area (NDA), forming a regional landmark and
major focal point and activity node of the Area. At the Eastern
District Centre of the Fanling North (FLN) NDA, a town plaza of
about 3.1 ha characterised by cruciform pedestrian shopping
streets with retail shops, cafés and restaurants is planned to
promote vibrancy.
