Commercial Uses

Taking advantage of the strategic location of the HSK/HT NDA, land is reserved to accommodate
diversified economic uses ranging from general commercial uses to special industrial uses. These
robust economic clusters span across a wide spectrum of sectors, and cater for labour forces of different
educational attributes and skills. The provision of commercial floor area is mainly concentrated at the
commercial development nodes of the Regional Economic and Civic Hub (Figure 32), District Commercial
Node as well as the Local Service Core and Lau Fau Shan at the north of the NDA commercial centre.

Retail Activities

Retail facilities are provided within
residential clusters, and shopping
streets are proposed around the
proposed HSK Station, along the
GTC near the station and along
TSW Drainage Channel with retail
frontages for shops and services
(Figure 33) to promote a thriving
local economy.
