Entering the Reception Area, the City Gallery logo and its adjacent new
showpiece ‘Planning Eye’ are there to attract eyeballs. The ‘Planning Eye’ is an
immersive multimedia show featuring an overview of the city development, its
challenges and opportunities as well as its vision through the interactive display
of LED sphere and city model.
Next to the ‘Planning Eye’ are two new interactive exhibits, namely ‘Great World
Cities’ presenting interesting facts of Hong Kong in comparison with some other
cities and ‘City Impression’ showing the best practices of Hong Kong and some
other cities in achieving the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals.
Whether you are an urban design advocate, nature lover, or city enthusiast, you
will be fascinated by some of these innovative ideas and city solutions.
