Urban Design Framework for WCN Waterfront

To tie in with the gradual completion of infrastructure works on the WCN
harbourfront areas, including the Wan Chai Development Phase II (WDII), Central-
Wan Chai Bypass (CWB) and SCL, as well as the reprovisioning of affected

waterfront facilities, the Study has worked out a sustainable urban design

framework and various harbourfront enhancement proposals (HEPs) to guide
future developments. In view of the public aspiration for early enjoyment of the
harbourfront, some quick-win projects are being implemented progressively under

an incremental approach.
