Our Staff
Staff Development
To widen our staff's exposure and keep them abreast of the current issues and
global trends on planning development, we undertook the following activities
in 2020:
• 1 584 members of staff attended 107 job-related courses and seminars
organised by the Department;
• 400 members of staff attended courses and seminars run by the Civil
Service Training and Development Institute and other government
bureaux/departments;
• 44 members of staff attended 19 Occupation Safety and Health related
courses and seminars run by the Civil Service Training and Development
Institute and other government bureaux/departments;
• 48 members of staff attended 11 local conferences; and
• two members of staff attended two online overseas conferences/seminars
(including the Child in the City webinar: 'Making Connections in the Time of
Corona' and the World Sustainable Built Environment Online Conference:
BEYOND 2020).
