Next Steps - Taking the Comments Forward
6.1 All comments made during the First Stage Consultation have been recorded and will be taken into consideration as the Study proceeds. 6.2 Comments on technical issues such as approach and methodology will be addressed when the initial landscape classification and evaluation framework is reviewed in the next task of the Study ('Desk Top Scoping'). 6.3 Comments made on substantive issues such as features and areas stated to be of landscape value will be used as reference of public views for input to the landscape evaluation in other forthcoming tasks of the Study, i.e. 'Field Survey' and 'Data Analysis'. |

6.4 The findings of the subsequent tasks will be presented in a series of Technical Reports which will be available on Planning Department's website in mid-2003.
6.5 The Draft Landscape Character Map and study findings will be presented for consultation in the Second Stage Consultation which is likely to take place in late 2003. Comments on procedural issues related to the consultation will be taken into consideration in formulating the consultation strategy.
